Hello everyone, I post this devlog for explain where I am in the project.

First, remember, English is not my language, I'm speaking French. If you speak French, you can visit the officiel website.

About the project, if you don't follow this on ModDB, I rewrite about all. The Mod is not only a lot of maps, but also editing the Core and make  a unique game. Builded under Source SDK 2013, is can be run on all modern PC, are easy to use with Steam and are the only one mapping software I have learned and really know.  


This Mod is a revisite of the original game by id Software; Wolfenstein 3D, released in 1992. Including all originals maps and respect secrets positions, and also for all ennemis and items. Also imported new weapon and replaced some default of Half-Life 2; The crowbar is a Knife, the Pistol is a Luger and added the MP40 (for machine gun) and MP44/StG44 (for chaingun). Ennemies use same weapons but only for specified type; the Solder (brown) use the Luger, the Officer (blue) use the MP40, the SS (white) use the MP44 and don't forget, the Hitler (boss) use the MP44 and can use grenade (and you, you can't do it).

I have modified sounds for items taked, weapons and others for immitate the orignal game most possible. HUD are remodeled with new color, positions, font and added the player face (but not change with health, only animated). The soundtrack is not same music of the game, I use few remixes and inspirated by this game. 

Building maps

I not use any king of tools for auto-importing original maps into source, all is done from nothing and I follow the map provided here. The original game ahve a number limited of objects (decoration), and not follow this (is also not visible in the map details), but I try to add styles and design for each rooms, I follow this guideline; Brown walls if for Offices, White walls is for commun sales, halls or for Offices for High grades, the Blue walls is for jails and all related. The style I made is for technologies possibles around 1940-1950.

I can only mapping by myself, for weapons, items and complexe textures, I have found many ressources on internet for free, for this reason, I not sold this project. For now, I not have begun to contact all authors for autorisations, I want finish (and looking for release) before contact. But you can see the list of used items here.

Amories

Amories, this only for eyes, player can't take any of this weapons.

The advancement of project is average 35% done. And I continue to work on them, I have the 3 first maps completed and working on map of level 4. The DLLs are not completly ready to use, I have few bug and I'm looking for a C, C++, .Net programmer, can help me with that. If you want also offer your help about; modeling, texturing and mapping, you are welcome (and if you speak French, is too much).

This mod's project is for a public mature, contain few materials can hurt some people. Please understand the situation of the game.
